Abstract

Từ góc độ triết học, bài viết phân tích những nội dung cơ bản trong triết lý giáo dục của Karl Jaspers, một trong những triết gia tiêu biểu của chủ nghĩa hiện sinh thế kỷ XX. Theo Karl Jaspers, mục đích của giáo dục là đào tạo con người tự do, có năng lực tự quyết; muốn vậy các chương trình giáo dục cần hướng đến việc truyền dạy sự hiểu biết về đời sống, giới tự nhiên và bản thân; cần coi trọng vai trò của đối thoại dân chủ, tính chất chủ thể của cả người dạy lẫn người học trong quá trình dạy - học. Bên cạnh việc đưa ra những nhận xét về giá trị và hạn chế của triết lý giáo dục này, bài viết đã bước đầu đề cập những giá trị tiếp cận cho giáo dục Việt Nam hiện nay.
