Abstract

La investigación refleja la culminación de un proceso de observación participante cualitativo de dos años y medio, noviembre del 2019 hasta octubre del 2022, analizando la evolución de los conflictos sociales que se suscitan en la Provincia de Islay, empezando la conflictividad desde el año 2007 con intentos de extracción de recursos metálicos en el Valle de Tambo, teniendo una vinculación de permanente negociación y diálogo en el territorio por actividades públicas y privadas entre la sociedad civil organizada y las municipalidades en un modelo de gobernabilidad inconcluso. Esta tesis se desarrolló como parte del proyecto “Hacia una nueva generación de docentes en las universidades de regiones“, ejecutado por el CIES con el apoyo de la Fundación Bustamante de la Fuente.
