Abstract

Dieser Bericht präsentiert Ergebnisse der Schwerpunktfrage der Innovationserhebung 2016 im Rahmen des Mannheimer Innovationspanels (MIP). Darüber hinaus werden die Ergebnisse eines methodischen Tests zu den Auswirkungen der Anzeige von Vorjahresangaben im Fragebogen auf das Antwortverhalten der Unternehmen bei quantitativen Variablen vorgestellt. Die Schwerpunktfrage widmete sich dem Thema Digitalisierung. Erfasst wurde zum einen, in welchen Bereichen und in welchem Umfang Unternehmen aktuell, d.h. zum Befragungszeitpunkt im Frühjahr und Sommer 2016, Digitalisierung anwenden und inwieweit sie mit einer zunehmenden, gleich bleibenden oder abnehmenden Anwendung in den nächsten 3 bis 5 Jahren rechnen. Zum anderen wurde die Bedeutung verschiedenen Schwierigkeiten bei der Nutzung der Digitalisierung erhoben.
