The Future of Work: Challenges for Men and Women

Abstract

Occupational restructuring is one of the most significant recent changes in the labor markets. Occupational gender segregation means that it may have very different impacts on men and women. In this article, I describe occupational restructuring, the driving forces behind it, and how it may affect men and women.
