[Sustainable Fiscal Policy for Lower Saxony]

Abstract

The paper assesses fiscal sustainability for the German state Lower Saxony. It proceeds from projections of tax revenue, population, interest, and growth and concludes that the public debt ratio will rise considerably until 2030.
