Beschäftigungsprognose 2006/2007 für die Region Rhein-Main : IWAK-Unternehmensbefragung im Dezember 2005

Abstract

Das Institut für Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Kultur (IWAK) führt seit 1995 jährlich eine Unternehmensbefragung in der Region Rhein-Main durch. Ziel der Untersuchung ist es, Einschätzungen der Unternehmen über künftige Entwicklungen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt der Region zu erhalten und mögliche Probleme frühzeitig zu erkennen. Bei der Befragung im Dezember 2005 wurden ca. 6.500 Fragebögen verschickt. Der Rücklauf umfasst rund 1.000 verwertbare Fragebögen. Die Daten wurden nach Betriebsgröße und Wirtschaftszweigen gewichtet, um Verzerrungen zu korrigieren. Nach der Gewichtung werden 194.000 Beschäftigte aus 8.900 Betrieben erfasst. Der Report befasst sich mit der (kurzfristigen) Beschäftigungsprognose der Betriebe bis Ende 2006 bzw. 2007. Zusätzlich wird eine mittelfristige Prognose für die Region Rhein-Main erstellt (bis 2010). Die Ergebisse zeigen, dass die Beschäftigung in der Region Rhein-Main bis Ende 2006 stagnieren wird. Ein nennenswertes Beschäftigungswachstum ist erst 2007 zu erwarten. (IAB2)
