ロシアの死亡動態再考：サーベイ

Abstract

ロシアの人口規模に影響を与える死亡率の決定要因を，先行研究を通じて探ることが本稿の目的である．文献調査と記述統計の描写により，ロシアの死亡率の変動と一致し得る要因に焦点を当てて検討を行った．死亡を社会経済要因のみで説明することは不可能であろうし，医学文献のサーベイは必須である．医療水準の悪化・環境汚染・生活習慣等の要因が，ソ連時代を通じた死亡率の上昇傾向を，そして連邦崩壊後におけるロシアの死亡率の変動を統一的に説明することは困難であると解釈される．先行研究は「ロシア人とアルコール」という，むしろ文学作品やメディア等でアネクドータルに描かれてきたような関係を抽出し，その長期的な死亡率の変化や体制転換後のロシアにおける死亡確率に決定的な影響を与える要因としてのアルコール消費量の重要性を示した．
