Abstract

El lenguaje matemático cotidiano utilizado, para referirse a los fenómenos y las cosas que contabilizamos, requiere claridad conceptual y precisión para lograr expresar lo que se desea; la matemática se utiliza como herramienta auxiliar en muchas disciplinas del saber, especialmente en lo que aquí importa como es el caso de las ciencias sociales y humanas. Dado que se cometen cantidades ingentes de errores e inconsistencias en su uso diario, no solo en manos de profanos sino también de especialistas, como economistas, sociólogos, politólogos, filósofos, juristas, historiadores, entre otros estudiosos, presentamos un recuento sucinto de algunos de ellos, para que una vez detectados, analizados e interiorizados, seamos capaces de evitarlos en nuestro actuar teórico - práctico.
