Abstract

Introduction. In the context of increasing global competition between banks in the world, innovation determines the level of development of activities, in particular, they are the main model for the development of the banking sector in the field of remote banking services. It is the development of innovative activities in the banking system that ensures their high competitiveness in the global financial market. The digitalization process, as one of the modern trends in the development of the banking and financial sector of Uzbekistan, is becoming an indicator that determines the boundaries of the development of the national economy. Based on this, the digital transformation of the banking and financial sector in our Republic is recognized as a supporting industry for digitalization in all sectors of the national economy. Methods. The methods of scientific abstraction, comparative and structural analysis, induction and deduction, economic-statistical and econometric assessment are used in the article. Analysis. In this article, the authors, based on statistical data from the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, analyzed the system of remote banking services in the banking system. The work highlights the main processes that determine the current trends in the development of the market for remote banking services. Results. As a conclusion, the authors identified the main processes that determine the current trends in the development of the market for remote banking services: the use of modern information technologies, the introduction of new segments of the online banking market and online banking tools of the banking sector, increased competition between banks in the online banking market and improved quality banking services to clients in the online banking sector.
