El ¿nuevo? capitalismo a través del Mundial de Fútbol Catar, 2022

Abstract

El capitalismo evoluciona y se transforma, lo que provoca que se presente en eventos o actividades cotidianas, por lo que las necesidades y características sociales también se modifican. Los deportes se han convertido en uno de los elementos predilectos por parte de las estructuras económicas para generar capital, lograr nuevos mercados, ampliar los patrones de consumo y evidenciar las nuevas formas en las que se estructura el poder. Esto queda de manifiesto en el reciente Mundial de Futbol Catar, 2022, en el que se evidencia la globalización económica y cultural actual. En el cual cierta parte de la sociedad se siente atraída hacia este tipo de espectáculos, aunque no se tenga un interés real por el deporte sino por lo que rodea al mundial, pero las estructuras capitalistas también han conformado distintos tipos de características para este tipo de eventos, como es el fácil acceso a distintos servicios de entretenimiento, por lo que la generación de distintos sentimientos se hizo evidente y son explotados para la comercialización del megaevento. Todo esto es factible analizarlo desde una perspectiva critica espacial, que permite identificar las estructuras políticas de diversos procesos y de las consecuencias.
