Európai Unió - a beteljesületlen remény?

Abstract

Két évtizedes uniós tagság után az országban továbbra is közmegegyezés van arról, hogy az Európai Unión belül tágasabb, mint kívül. Ugyanakkor a kormányzati politika és kommunikáció hatására teret nyert mind a közvéleményben, mind a szakmában a korábban kivételnek számító euroszkepticizmus. Az uniós tervekkel szemben megfogalmazott külön út - legalább a törekvés szintjén - mára a jó modor részévé vált. Magyarország EU-csatlakozásának kerek évfordulója alkalmat ad annak végiggondolására, hogy miként jutottunk ide az egykori "eurofóriából", továbbá, hogy hova vezet az az út, amelyen sok év óta haladunk.
