Sistemi di protezione sociale e politiche di sviluppo: approcci, strumenti e proposte di policy

Abstract

In questo articolo si discutono i recenti approcci che analizzano il contributo dei sistemi di protezione sociale alle politiche di sviluppo. Le lezioni tratte, in particolare, dall?esperienza dei Paesi emergenti e in via di sviluppo sono poi considerate con riferimento al caso delle politiche regionali condotte in Italia. Infine, dalla letteratura internazionale vengono distillate alcune proposte di policy per rendere pi? efficace la spesa dei Fondi strutturali europei nelle regioni del Mezzogiorno.
