Knight Y Sus Aportes A La Teoría Del Emprendedor

Abstract

A finales del siglo XIX la atención de los economistas se centró en el estudio de las capacidades para los negocios y en los factores que determinaban un tipo de beneficio que hasta el momento había sido deficientemente estudiado. De esta manera surge la figura del emprendedor. Knight considera que el emprendedor es el único factor productivo, establece una clara distinción entre riesgo e incertidumbre y por medio de ellos explica el beneficio que éste percibe. Knight asigna algunas características al emprendedor y lo considera como un agente dinámico e innovador en el desarrollo. Aclara que el beneficio del emprendedor proviene de la gestión de la incertidumbre.
