Impactul culturii informaţionale în mediul educaţional universitar

Abstract

Impactul puternic al mediului electronic asupra tuturor sectoarelor vieţii sociale şi economice s-a repercutat şi asupra formării universitare. Astfel, se impune ca o necesitate introducerea în formarea profesională, indiferent de specialitate, a unor discipline care să dezvolte cunoştinţele teoretice şi abilităţile practice privind construcţia, prelucrarea, comunicarea şi utilizarea informaţiei. Articolul încearcă să analizeze ce tip de metode şi resurse trebuie utilizate în cadrul unui curs de cultura informaţiei oferit de către o bibliotecă universitară. Se încearcă a se demonstra că acest tip de instrucţie este foarte importantă pentru că demonstrează importanţa tuturor tipurilor de informaţii (tradiţionale sau electronice) şi cum diferite tipuri de concepte şi modele strategice ar putea duce la creşterea eficienţei în această arie profesională
