Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of financial risks and the probability of their implementation in the activities of machine-building enterprises. The approximation of discrete empirical data shows the predictive nature of the proposed approach, which makes it possible to plan actions aimed at changing the financial activities of machine-building enterprises. The assessment of the dynamics of financial risks can be carried out for a sample formed on a certain basis of the general population of enterprises focusing on the risks inherent in enterprises of a certain classification group. The transition from analyzing the dynamics of risks to calculating the expected magnitude of the consequences of the implementation of financial risks can serve as a universal tool for developing plans to minimize the consequences of the implementation of financial risks in various fields of activity. The methodology provides additional tools for analyzing the risks of enterprises within the selected classification groups and the dynamics of changes in the parameters of the random variable distribution laws. The results obtained can be used in the development of solutions aimed at reducing financial risks at enterprises of the machine-building industry in order to increase the financial security of the region as a whole.
