El valor del uso recreativo del Parque Natural Sierra de María-Los Velez (Almería)

Abstract

RESUMEN - El objetivo de este artículo es estimar el valor de uso recreativo de un espacio protegido en el sur de España, el Parque Natural Sierra de María-Los Vélez en Almería, mediante el método del coste de viaje zonal. Los resultados obtenidos muestran un excedente del consumidor, entre 7,67-13,29 €/persona, según el escenario propuesto teniendo en cuenta el tiempo de desplazamiento como un coste o como un disfrute. Finalmente, se presentan algunas conclusiones y, a partir de ellas, se perfilan estrategias con el fin de potenciar el uso recreativo del Parque y mejorar su gestión futura.
