Abstract

La plupart des pays européens ont, au cours de la crise, réduit plus ou moins fortement la durée effective de travail, via des dispositifs de chômage partiel, la réduction des heures supplémentaires ou le recours aux comptes épargne-temps, mais aussi via le développement du temps partiel (particulièrement en Italie et en Espagne), notamment le temps partiel subi. A contrario, l’évolution favorable du chômage américain s’explique en partie par une baisse importante du taux d’activité. [Premier paragraphe]
