Abstract

Pour la Chine, dont les ressources énergétiques intérieures ne suffisent plus depuis longtemps à répondre à la demande, le gaz de schiste représente un nouvel espoir, et suscite l’enthousiasme des cercles économiques et politiques. Pour les chercheurs du NRDC, le développement du gaz non conventionnel permettrait d’augmenter les quantités disponibles de ressources énergétiques et donc de réduire les écarts entre l’offre et la demande, et d’abaisser les coûts énergétiques dans les pays en développement...
