Abstract

Despite a controversial reputation, mutual fund portfolio managers remain among the highest paid professionals in the financial services industry. This creates all the prerequisites for portfolio managers to do their best to keep their jobs. In this paper, we examine the impact of selling a management company on the behavior of portfolio managers and their future career opportunities
