Abstract

The analysis of existing methods of managing the portfolio of projects showed that current approaches and methods are more of a theoretical character, consist mainly conceptual provisions and the production of individual tasks. The proposed settlement methods are either too simplistic in nature, not tailored to the changing conditions of implementation of projects and portfolio, or involve complex calculation procedures and baseline information, which in reality, as a rule, is absent. Most of the methods are oriented to the solution of specific tasks of portfolio management, primarily on its formation and optimization. In reality, the portfolio as a control object that has a dynamic nature and management should be a cyclical, ongoing process that involves constant monitoring of the results of its implementation and, accordingly, regular re-formation (changes) of the portfolio. The need for development of complex methods of management of a portfolio of projects, allowing to dynamically generate and modify the project portfolio of the company-oriented strategy of the company development and stability of its operation determines the relevance of the topic and objectives of the present study.
