Tous les deux ans, Population & Sociétés publie un numéro intitulé Tous les pays du monde présentant un tableau de la population mondiale. Celle-ci compte un peu plus de 7 milliards d'habitants en 2013. Elle a été multipliée par sept au cours des deux derniers siècles, et devrait continuer à croître jusqu'à atteindre 10 à 11 milliards à la fin du XXIe siècle.
