Les violences sexuelles en France : quand la parole se libère

Abstract

L'enquête Contexte de la sexualité en France (CSF) de 2006 a demandé aux personnes interrogées si elles avaient subi des rapports sexuels forcés ou des tentatives au cours de leur vie, comme l'avait fait en 2000 l'enquête nationale sur les violences sexuelles envers les femmes en France (Enveff). D'une enquête à l'autre, les déclarations d'agressions sexuelles ont doublé, 16% des femmes et 5 % des hommes déclarant en 2006 avoir subi des rapports forcés ou des tentatives de rapports forcés au cours de leur vie. L'augmentation des déclarations ne provient pas d'une fréquence accrue des agressions, mais d'une plus grande propension à rapporter des événements de violence dans une enquête scientifique, liée à l'abaissement du seuil de rejet des violences.
