Abstract

Russia is often considered to be among the most affected countries. Strictly speaking, this is not entirely true: both in terms of the depth of the fall in GDP and industrial production, and in terms of the unemployment situation in Russia looks better than, for example, in some of its neighbors - Ukraine and the Baltic countries. Therefore, the depth of the crisis in Russia can be considered rather average, typical for a wide range of countries. However, it is worth remembering that the pre-crisis period in Russia, with its US $ 600 billion. Reserves seemed one of the most ready-to-crisis economies.
