Abstract

The article analyzes changes in the sectoral structure of Russia's economy in 1991-2009. The emphasis is on determining the role in structural changes of internal factors, the effect of which is based on intersectoral competition for society's limited resources. The analysis makes it possible to distinguish three basic factors that affect the sectoral structure of the Russian economy: the exchange rate, the interest rate, and wages.
