Abstract

The goal of this paper has been to investigate, under a biological economic point of view, the fish farm activity. The theoretical analysis and the productive section have been linked, allowing thus a Company, as well as the public administration, to determine under what biological and technical conditions a fish farm enterprise project is viable. From the working-out of the biological model, which determines the production potential of the enterprise, the economic implications of the biological and technical hypothesis considered are analysed, obtaining the operating account to the project; this will allow to analyse its viability.
