Abstract

This work is a continuation of a previous research work in which we analize the image that foreign visitors have of Spanish regions, one they have accomplished their journey. Now we are going a step forward and, being aware of the segmented demand we are facing, we study thoroughly the real image of the destinations with two segments which include wide different features: the road tourist and the plane tourist. To carry it out we make use of the tourists’ opinions about different aspects of the destinations collected in the FRONTUR survey (IET). The study of the image will be done by applying the multivariant methodologies Factorial Analysis and Measurement of Distances with which we will show the subjacent factors of the image of the destinations. The Spanish Regions are placed acording to these factors.
