Abstract

The present work seek evidence on internal operation standards in the economic behavior of the peasants of the south of Chile. According to the results seems be that the existence of a given relationship in the endowment of production factors makes to tend the peasant systems toward different technological definitions according to the productive factor which is greater relative abundance. The implicit objetive in the productive strategy of the peasant family would be to value this factor relatively more abundant, upon relating it technologically to those most restrictive, this evidence associates the topic of the adoption of a technological plan with a rational optimization process by part of the peasant family in function of the relative endowment of factors that it handles.
