La Empresa Familiar una temática en desarrollo. Revisión literaria

Abstract

Las empresas familiares representan un papel importante en la generación de riqueza a nivel nacional e internacional, asimismo son fuentes generadoras de empleo. Tales entidades, forman parte esencial de las estructuras económicas y productivas, diferenciándose del resto de organizaciones a través de tres factores principales: la propiedad, la empresa y la familia. Temas como la sucesión, la propiedad, la familia, los valores y la cultura organizacional son fuertemente ligados con las empresas familiares; sin embargo, a pesar de la importancia que dichas organizaciones representan, son pocas, relativamente recientes o muy superficiales las investigaciones dentro de la temática. Saber que aún existen vacíos de conocimientos que obstaculizan la comprensión de este tipo de organización genera la inquietud por seguir estudiando dichas organizaciones. Por ello, el presente documento tiene como objetivo analizar la revisión literaria sobre el tema señalado con el propósito de resaltar su estado del arte, detectar nuevas líneas de investigación y así ampliar el conocimiento en el área.
