Abstract

This document determines the efficiency of the distribution of the PROED incentive at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico based on variables on educational quality. The hierarchical clustering method and the regression analysis by the ordinary least squares are used to determine the fundamental variables on which the allocation of resources among different university spaces could be based on. Empirical results show that the current distribution of the PROED incentive is not in line with the indicators of educational quality.
