Weltwirtschaftsklima wird frostiger : Ergebnisse des 62. ifo Konjunkturtest International (KTI) vom Oktober 1998

Abstract

Im Oktober wurde zum 62. Mal der vierteljährliche ifo Konjunkturtest International durchgeführt. Im Durchschnitt der 66 einbezogenen Länder hat sich das Wirtschaftsklima erneut deutlich abgekühlt. Auch in Nordamerika, West- und Osteuropa, wo die aktuelle Lage noch als zufriedenstellend galt, waren die Erwartungen für das nächste halbe Jahr pessimistischer als im Juli. Für die nächsten drei bis fünf Jahre rechnen die Experten mit einem Wachstum des realen Bruttoinlandsprodukts von 2,3% p.a. Vor einem Jahr hatten die Meldungen ein Rate von 3,5% ergeben.
