Die wirtschaftliche Lage Weißrußlands: Kein Ende des Niedergangs

Abstract

Trotz verschiedener Reformprogramme gab es bisher keine ernsthaften Bemühungen, die Wirtschaft zu stabilisieren und marktwirtschaftliche Anpassungsprozesse voranzutreiben. Im Ergebnis kam es 1994 zu einer Beschleunigung von Produktionsrückgang und Inflation. Die Ziele des Antikrisenprogramms für 1995 sind bereits jetzt außer Reichweite. Die Hoffnung auf internationale Finanzhilfe hat sich zerschlagen. Rußland war bisher nicht zu den immer wieder erhofften Zugeständnissen in Form billigerer und umfangreicherer Energielieferungen bereit. Die Institute erwarten daher auch für 1995 einen Fortgang der wirtschaftlichen Krise. Ein Absinken der Inflation in den dreistelligen Bereich ist unwahrscheinlich.
