Miért üresek a labdarúgó-stadionok lelátói? A sportfogyasztástól való tartózkodási skála adaptációja
[Why are football stadiums empty? Adaptation of the Constraints on Sport Consumption Scale]

Abstract

A passzív sportfogyasztási szokásokkal kapcsolatos korábbi hazai kutatások jellemzően a szurkolók motivációjának feltárására törekedtek. Jelen vizsgálatban a másik oldal, a potenciálisan bevonzható nézők, azaz a mérkőzésektől eddig távol maradók döntésének hátterében meghúzódó okok feltárását tűztük ki célul. 1064 fős elemszámú kérdőíves felmérésünk válaszadói azon városok lakói közül kerültek ki, ahol a magyar nemzeti bajnokság első osztályában versenyző labdarúgócsapatot működtető klub van, vagyis a válaszadóknak meglett volna a lehetőségük, hogy kilátogassanak a mérkőzésekre. Eredményeink alapján megállapíthatjuk, hogy a távolmaradókat leginkább a sporttal kapcsolatos - kontraproduktív - állami intézkedések, illetve más szabadidős programok fogják vissza a magyar labdarúgó-mérkőzések látogatásától. A csekély helyszíni nézői érdeklődésért felmérésünk szerint nem kizárólag és nem is elsősorban a mérkőzések alacsony színvonala vagy a helyi csapat sikereinek hiánya a felelős, hanem sokkal inkább az, hogy az emberek a labdarúgó-mérkőzéseknél jobban kedvelnek más szabadidős programokat. A helyzeten a klubok üzleti alapú működésre való átállása mellett a passzív sportfogyasztási kultúra, valamint a klubok lokális beágyazódásának megteremtése és erősítése javíthat.
