Abstract

In this study we review the relevant entrepreneurship literature concerning the impact of business incubators' support on new firms' success. Results of the international empirical literature are compiled in five areas from the entry to the exit of the firms, namely (1) firms selection, (2) consulting, (3) networks, (4) infrastructure, and (5) exit strategies. Implications for incubators' management and politicians as well as further research opportunities are made and discussed with special attention to German business incubators.
