Öffentliche Forschungseinrichtungen als Kooperationspartner

Abstract

Die Nutzung des in öffentlichen Forschungseinrichtungen vorhandenen Wissens kann für Innovationsprozesse privater Unternehmen von wesentlicher Bedeutung sein. Kooperationsbeziehungen zwischen Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtungen stellen ein wesentliches Medium zum Transfer dieses Wissens dar. In dem vorliegenden Beitrag wird zunächst auf die Formen von Zusammenarbeit zwischen öffentlichen Forschungseinrichtungen und privaten Unternehmen eingegangen. Darauf aufbauend werden die räumlichen Strukturen der Kooperationsbeziehungen behandelt und abschließend die Bedeutung von Technologie-Transfer-Einrichtungen für die Kontaktanbahnung zwischen Unternehmen und Forschungseinrichtungen erläutert. Die Ergebnisse deuten darauf hin, daß den öffentlichen Forschungseinrichtungen eine zentrale Rolle im Rahmen regionaler Innovationssysteme zukommt.
