RePEc step-by-step tutorial
Problems preparing your http or https server for RePEc
You have a http server and directory browsing still does not work (especially likely with Microsoft IIS), or RePEc services have trouble accessing your files even though it works fine when looking at the directories on your server with a browser. The following tricks may resolve the problems. If you are simulating directory browsing:
- Make sure links to subdirectories end with a slash (/)
- Make sure links are relative rather than absolute, that is they do not contain the full address (including http:// or https://). This is important for some virtual servers
- Some servers require that the index files start with <HTML> and end with </HTML>
If this does not work, consider using an anonymous ftp server, and if all else fails, use the RePEc Input Service
