Abstract

Dieses Paper untersucht die Einflüsse der Einführung prospektiver Finanzierungssysteme im stationären Sektor unter besonderer Berücksichtigung des Einflusses des neuen DRG-Entgeltsystems auf Arbeitsbedingungen und berufliches Selbstverständnis von Ärzten und die Versorgungsqualität im Krankenhaus. Dieser Band ist eine Fortsetzung des WZB-Discussion Papers von Oktober 2006 (Klinke/ Kühn 2006). Zugrunde liegen auch hier Daten einer repräsentativen Umfrage unter deutschen Krankenhausärzten aus dem Jahre 2004. In diesem Band wird im Detail gezeigt, wie sich Arbeitsbedingungen und Versorgungsqualität zum Zeitpunkt der Befragung aus Sicht der Ärzte darstellen und welche Konflikte zwischen betriebswirtschaftlichen Erfordernissen und Patientenversorgung bestehen. Welche Folgen die DRG-Einführung für die Arbeitsbedingungen der Beschäftigten im Krankenhaus und die Qualität der Patientenversorgung hat, wird im Projekt Wandel von Medizin und Pflege im DRG-System (WAMP) untersucht, das vom Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung (WZB) in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Zentrum für Sozialforschung in Bremen (ZeS) durchgeführt wird. In diesem Beitrag werden Ergebnisse der ersten quantitativen Ärztebefragung (W1 Quanti - Ärzte) vorgestellt. Das Projekt wird von der Hans-Böckler-Stiftung, der Gewerkschaft Ver.di, der Gmünder Ersatzkasse (GEK) und der Landesärztekammer Hessen gefördert bzw. unterstützt und vom Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung (WZB) und dem Zentrum für Sozialpolitik der Universität Bremen (ZeS) unter der Leitung von Rolf Rosenbrock (WZB) und Bernard Braun (ZeS) durchgeführt.
