Veränderungen von Arbeits- und Umwelteinstellungen im internationalen Vergleich

Abstract

Diese Arbeit nähert sich dem Zusammenhang zwischen Arbeit und Ökologie aus der Einstellungsperspektive. Auf Basis der Daten der Weltwertestudien 1981, 1990 und 1995 wird zunächst untersucht, inwieweit sich die Arbeitseinstellungen der Menschen in West- und Ostdeutschland, den USA, Japan und Schweden verändert haben und wie stark derzeit das Umweltbewußtsein in diesen Ländern ausgeprägt ist. Daran anschließend analysiere ich den Zusammenhang zwischen bestimmten Typen von Arbeitseinstellungen und der Ausprägung des Umweltbewußtseins. Darüber hinaus wird untersucht, ob die Mitgliedschaft in einer Gewerkschaft die Einstellungen zu Arbeit und Umwelt beeinflußt und ob die Stärke und die Richtung des Einflusses zwischen den Untersuchungsländern variiert.
