Abstract

Die vorliegende Arbeit befasst sich mit den ökonomischen Aspekten von REDD, wobei sie sich hauptsächlich auf die Kosten und Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten der Emissionsreduktionen im Forstsektor konzentriert. Zudem wird die grundlegende Idee eines zukünftigen REDD-Mechanismus vorgestellt und darüber hinaus dessen am meisten diskutierten Ausgestaltungsmöglichkeiten auf globaler Ebene aufgezeigt.
