Die elektronische Patientenakte: Ein internetbasiertes Konzept für das Management von Patientenbeziehungen

Abstract

Der Aufbruch in das Informationszeitalter stellt die Politik, die Wirtschaft und die gesamte Gesellschaft vor neue Fragestellungen und Herausforderungen. Die damit verbundenen radikalen Veränderungen können aber auch als Chance begriffen werden - gerade im Gesundheitswesen. Innovationen der Telemedizin können einen erheblichen Beitrag zur Effizienz und Qualität der Gesundheitsversorgung leisten. Ein wesentlicher Aspekt bei der Effizienzund Qualitätsverbesserung wird in der Integration der Leistungserbringer in den Behandlungsprozess gesehen. Diese Integration kann durch eine einrichtungsübergreifende Dokumentation, mit Hilfe der elektronischen Patientenakte, unterstützt werden. Die Komplexität medizinischer Sachverhalte, die fehlende Strukturierung und die unterschiedliche Codierung der dokumentierten Inhalte erschweren den Einsatz elektronischer Verfahren. Bei der Implementierung einrichtungsübergreifender elektronischer Patientenakten, stellt sich die Frage, welche Informationen erfasst und wie diese strukturiert und abgebildet werden müssen. Auf der Suche nach Lösungsansätzen ist es sinnvoll auf Branchen zurückzugreifen, die einer ähnlich gelagerten Problematik unterliegen. Dabei konnte beobachtet werden, dass Instrumente des Customer Relationship Managements (CRM) bei kundenorientierten Dienstleistungen eingesetzt werden. Insofern soll aufgezeigt werden, wie diese Instrumente, im besonderen Prozessportale, zur Verbesserung der Wirtschaftlichkeit und Qualität in der Gesundheitsversorgung eingesetzt werden können.
