Eine Reformagenda für Deutschland

Abstract

Die Leitfrage für die kommende Legislaturperiode lautet: Wie findet Deutschland zurück zur Prosperität? Wenn die Wirtschaft wachsen und die soziale Balance der Gesellschaft gewahrt bleiben soll, dann führt an einer Reihe von marktwirtschaftlich ausgerichteten Reformen kein Weg vorbei. Nur mit einem konsistenten, auf lange Sicht angelegten Programm wird es der Politik gelingen, die Bürger von der Notwendigkeit dieser Reformen zu überzeugen. Die vorliegende RWI-Position Eine Reformagenda für Deutschland entwickelt vor diesem Hintergrund eine konkrete Vision der marktwirtschaftlichen Erneuerung unseres Landes. Sie umfasst, gegliedert in die drei aus ökonomischer Sicht entscheidenden Handlungsfelder - 1. Steigerung der wirtschaftlichen Leistungsfähigkeit, 2. Verbesserte Organisation der sozialen Teilhabe, 3. Gewährleistung soliden staatlichen Handelns - insgesamt neun konkrete Reformempfehlungen.
