Maßnahmen gegen die Euro-Schuldenkrise auf dem Prüfstand: Warum im Sommer 2011 alles anders wurde

Abstract

Die Eurokrise hat sich seit dem Sommer 2011 dadurch zugespitzt, dass der Finanzmarkt Italien und Spanien sowie viele europäische Banken wesentlich kritischer beurteilte und seine Kapitalzufuhr deutlich drosselte. Ein Grundproblem dabei ist, dass Italien so groß ist, dass es für die verbleibenden Eurostaaten too big to save ist. Viele der diskutierten Krisenmaßnahmen und Forderungen berücksichtigen dieses Problem jedoch nicht ausreichend. Auch die derzeit diskutierte Aufstockung des ESM muss aus diesem Blickwinkel beurteilt werden.
