Ausgabenstruktur der privaten Haushalte im EU-Vergleich

Abstract

Die Kaufkraft der EU-Verbraucher weist erhebliche Unterschiede auf. Dies zeigt auch die Struktur der Ausgaben privater Haushalte. So ist der Anteil von Nahrungsmitteln an den Konsumausgaben am höchsten in Rumänien, einem der Länder mit dem geringsten Pro-Kopf-Einkommen. Der Spitzenverdiener Luxemburg weist hingegen den höchsten Ausgabenanteil im EU-Vergleich für Verkehr und besonders beim Kauf von neuen Kraftfahrzeugen auf. Doch über die Kaufkraft hinaus spielen auch lokale Präferenzen eine wichtige Rolle. So geben die Kroaten anteilsmäßig im EU-Vergleich am meisten Geld für Beherbergungsdienstleistungen aus und Griechenland führt das Ranking bei den Ausgaben für Olivenöl an. Was den Anteil von Pauschalreisen an den Konsumausgaben angeht, sind die Deutschen unter den EU-Ländern der Vorreiter.
