    Abstract

    Unternehmensgründungen in technologieorientierten Sektoren leisten einen bedeutsamen Beitrag zur Umsetzung technologischer Innovationen in neue Produkte und Verfahren. Sie tragen somit zum technologischen Wandel bei und stärken die technologische Leistungsfähigkeit einer Volkswirtschaft. Da Innovationen das Hauptkapital solcher Gründungen darstellen, kommt ihrem Schutz eine besondere Bedeutung zu. Mit der Etablierung eines wirksamen Patentschutzsystems kann der Staat das Innovations- und Gründungsgeschehen fördern. In welchem Ausmaß dies dem gegenwärtigen Patentsystem in Deutschland gelingt, ist Gegenstand der Studie. --
