Il discorso del Presidente Juncker sullo stato dell'Unione per il 2017

Abstract

A settembre di ogni anno il Presidente della Commissione europea pronuncia dinanzi al Parlamento europeo il discorso sullo stato dell’Unione, in cui egli fa il punto della situazione per l’anno appena trascorso e illustra le priorità per l’anno successivo. In effetti, il 13 settembre 2017 il Presidente Juncker ha pronunciato il suo terzo discorso sullo stato dell’Unione che viene qui sommariamente esaminato assieme ad alcuni altri documenti e a dei provvedimenti che sono stati adottati in tale occasione. Oltre ai resoconti sull’applicazione delle decisioni già assunte e sull’attuazione delle politiche comuni, sono stati presentati alcuni testi di vario genere, tra cui in particolare la lettera di intenti, ad accompagnamento della “tabella di marcia†da seguire per giungere ad un’Unione più unita, più forte e più democratica prima delle prossime elezioni europee. Il discorso di quest’anno appare particolarmente importante giacché in esso il presidente Juncker svela la sua visione sul futuro dell’Unione europea.
