Abstract

Se aborda dos cuestiones estrechamente vinculadas. Comienza suscitando una vez más, la discusión sobre la existencia o inexistencia de una auténtica depresión agraria en la Castilla del Seiscientos; posteriornente, efactua algunas reflexiones acerca del alcance de las transformaciones operadas en la economía rural castellana durante las décadas finales del siglo XVl y la primera mitad del XVII.
