[TR] Bu notta Button ve digerleri (2010) tarafindan yapilan calismada kullanilan yaklasim izlenerek, tuketici kredilerine uygulanan faizlerden fonlama maliyeti ve kredi risk primi cikarilarak elde edilen marjlarin gelisimi incelenmistir. Bankalarin kredi faizlerini degisen konjonkturun gerektirdigi fonlama maliyetlerinin ve kredi risk priminin disinda kalan marjlari kullanarak ayarlama imkanina sahip olmasindan dolayi marjlar bir kredi arzi gostergesi olarak degerlendirilmektedir. Haziran 2011’den sonra marjlarda gorulen hizli artis kredi buyumesindeki yavaslamada arz yonlu kisitlarin on planda oldugunu dusundurmektedir. [EN] In this note we applied the methodology used in Button et al. (2010), where we calculated margins, which correspond to the interest rates of consumer loans less the associated funding costs and the credit risk premium. Since the banks are able to adjust the interest rates of consumer loans using margins that exclude the funding costs and credit risk premium imposed by the business cycle, margins can be regarded as an indicator of credit supply. The developments in margins in post-June 2011 period suggest that the supply-side effects played a crucial role in credit growth slow-down.
