Abstract

La crise financière internationale qui s’est déclenchée l’été dernier n’a jusqu’alors que peu dévié la trajectoire de la croissance latino-américaine. Engagée depuis 2003 sur un cycle de croissance particulièrement long et vertueux, la région est parvenue pendant toutes ces années à renforcer sa structure productive, à réduire ses déséquilibres et à être moins vulnérable aux perturbations des marchés financiers. Néanmoins, elle n’est pas imperméable aux transformations internationales qui pèsent sur son environnement économique. Comprise entre 5 et 6 % l’an de 2004 à 2007, la croissance devrait ralentir cette année vers 4,6 % et atteindre 2,6 % l’année prochaine. [Premier paragraphe]
