Abstract

La crise montre, une nouvelle fois, tous les risques que fait courir à l’économie le libre jeu des marchés financiers. Ceux-ci, gérant des masses énormes de capitaux en quête d’une rentabilité maximale (fonds de placement destinés aux ménages les plus riches, fonds de pension des pays anglo-saxons, capitaux des pays excédentaires) ont connu un prodigieux développement durant ces vingt dernières années. Ces marchés déterminent les taux de change, les taux d’intérêt et les cours boursiers, mais ils sont instables, moutonniers et cyclothymiques (...).
