Abstract

Depuis la fin du XIXème siècle, le commerce international a crû à un rythme plus soutenu que la production mondiale. Seules les deux guerres mondiales et la Grande Dépression des années 1930 ont interrompu cette tendance. Cette étude identifie les caractéristiques des grands courants commerciaux que l'économie mondiale a connu depuis la fin du XXème siècle en soulignant l'évolution dans l'orientation et la nature des échanges. Sont mis en évidence la polarisation des échanges, l'évolution de la Division Internationale du Travail et l'augmentation des échanges de services.
