Abstract

Kjeld Philip er kendt som såvel fagøkonom som politiker. I den brede offent-lighed nok mest i den sidste sammenhæng som en radikal minister i slutningen af 1950’erne og begyndelsen af 1960’erne. Blandt fagfæller er Philip dels kendt som en tidlig dansk bidragsyder til det gryende keynesianske paradigme med en svensk præget ex ante/ex post teoretisk tilgang dels for sit internationale ud-viklingsøkonomiske arbejde i FN regi, som optog ham efter hans tid som minis-ter var afsluttet. I nærværende note er fokus sat på en belysning af Kjeld Philips bidrag til keynesianismen. Dette sker med udgangspunkt i hans disputats fra 1942. Derudover påpeges også hans tilsyneladende meget moderne syn på fun-damentale arbejdsmarkedssammenhænge.
